Greetings to you all

As we continue to journey together the new academic session, I extend my hearty and warm welcome to all the students, staffs and parents.
I thank God for being a part of this institution. The name William Pettigrew is very dear to our hearts for he brought Christianity and introduced western education to this part of the world. Pettigrew college is named in honour of his selfless service to our people. Since the establishment of the college in 1965, the institution has produced various prominent leaders and successful personalities, this is due to the unwavering dedication of the faculty members. I can proudly say that as of now we have the best faculty members in the college and that is the strength which is behind the shaping and growing of this institution.
Moreover, I strongly believe that students should be taught how to think and not what to think. We are committed towards a holistic development of our students, be it physical, mental or spiritual. We also aim our programs to instill and build confidence, resilience and leadership skills in every student. For I know that in every child, there is a world waiting to be explored. Each academic year is a new height to be scaled, another dream realised with new targets set for the future.
